Pisces
-Pisces is the twelfth sign in the Zodiac, governing the period between February 19th and March 20th. It follows Aquarius, and precedes Aries. It is the last sign of the Zodiac.
-Pisces is a water sign and is ruled by the planet Neptune in modern astrology and Jupiter in traditional astrology.
-The symbol for Pisces is a pair of fish. It is thought that these two fish represent the fish that Aphrodite and her son Eros transformed into when escaping from Typhon, the father of all monsters. Typhon had been sent by Gaia to attack the gods. The god Pan warned Aphrodite and Eros, giving them time to transform and escape. Another myth suggests that Pisces was a fish that discovered an egg when it fell from the sky into the Euphrates River. The fish rolled the egg to the shore, where doves sat on it until Aphrodite hatched from the egg. As a thank you for getting the egg to the river bank, Aphrodite put the fish into the sky as the constellation Pisces.
