-Taurus is the second sign in the Zodiac, governing the period between April 20th and May 21st. It follows Aries, and precedes Gemini.
-Taurus is an earth sign and is ruled by the planet Venus.
-The symbol for Taurus is the bull. Most zodiac signs find their base in Greek mythology, however, Taurus is a little different. It was the first sign of the zodiac established among the Mesopotamians, who referred to it as the "Great Bull of Heaven." It was the constellation through which the sun rose on the spring equinox in ancient Mesopotamia.
-Taurus are stubborn, patient, and uncompromising.
